Bertucci Field Watches

Field watches are built for legibility and abuse rather than dress-watch refinement: high-contrast dials, generous lume, hardened crystals and straps that survive being soaked. Bertucci builds most of its range around a one-piece titanium case, which has no screwed case back to leak and keeps the watch light on the wrist.

Titanium is roughly 40% lighter than stainless steel at similar strength, does not trigger nickel sensitivity, and does not corrode in salt water. The trade-off is that it scratches more visibly than hardened steel — though on a bead-blasted matte case like Bertucci’s, marks blend into the finish rather than standing out.

Yes. Bertucci uses standard spring bars, so any strap in the correct lug width fits. Use a proper spring bar tool (a Bergeon 6767-F is the trade standard) and a case cushion — a knife or flathead will slip and gouge the lugs.
