What are watch findings?▾
Watch findings are the small replacement parts used in watch repair: crowns, stems, crystals, gaskets, spring bars, case back screws, dial feet, and movement components. Think of them as the consumables and spare parts a watchmaker needs to complete a service or repair.
How do I find the right crystal for my watch?▾
Measure the diameter of your existing crystal (or the bezel opening) in millimeters using a digital caliper. Then identify the type: mineral glass (most common, affordable), sapphire (scratch-resistant, premium), or acrylic/plastic (vintage watches). Match the diameter, type, and profile (flat, domed, or tension ring) to find your replacement.
What size spring bars do I need?▾
Spring bars are sized by width (matching your lug width, typically 18mm, 20mm, or 22mm) and diameter (1.5mm standard, 1.8mm for heavy-duty). Measure your watch’s lug width with calipers. Fat spring bars (1.8mm) are recommended for dive watches and NATO straps for extra security.
